MOSCOW WOULD HAVE “THE FREE WAY”, IF BAKHMOUT FALLS
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warns that if Bakhmut, the epicenter of deadly fighting, is taken, the Russian army will have “the free way” to seize towns in eastern Ukraine, in an interview with CNN aired Wednesday.
“We understand that after Bakhmout they could go further. They could go to Kramatorsk, they could go to Sloviansk, the way would be clear for the Russians (…) to other cities in Ukraine”, a- he told CNN. “It’s strategic for us,” insisted the Ukrainian president, stressing that his troops were determined to defend the city.
kyiv DENY BEING BEHIND SABOTAGE OF NORDSTREAM GAS PIPELINES
