The object of the game is to seize a 40 kg goat carcass with your bare hands, escape from the fray and then place it in a circle and win a prize, a camel for example. This sport has been practiced in Central Asia for more than 2000 years. Today, of course, Kazakhstanis have settled down, but this legacy of the region’s former nomads has not disappeared.
