Thursday evening, Philipp F., armed with a pistol, opened fire in a center of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Hamburg, a port city in northern Germany. He killed four men and two women aged between 33 and 60. One of them was seven months pregnant. Her unborn baby did not survive this shooting and is counted among the victims. Eight other people were injured, four of them seriously. The rapid arrival of the police, who interrupted his act, made it possible to avoid an even heavier toll, given the numerous ammunition found, the authorities said. When the police disembarked, the alleged assailant committed suicide.
