End of the nightmare for a mother and her daughter victims of the violent earthquake and its aftershocks which hit Turkey on Monday. Both were pulled from the rubble by rescue teams after spending more than three days buried.
It’s a barely perceptible sound in the middle of the din that challenged the rescuers that a TF1 team was following. After asking for silence and having the certainty that survivors were buried, the latter immediately began their search work. For hours, the team dug, managing to get closer centimeter by centimeter to the two survivors. Despite the slim chance of survival without food or water, rescuers eventually managed to make contact. Stunned but alive, the little girl was released in the middle of the night from Wednesday to Thursday, like her mother a few moments later.
