In the snow-shrouded city, residents fear the next few days as the mercury is expected to drop even further. “It’s not the snow that bothers me too much, but rather the cold. It still needs to cool off, but I’ve prepared myself. Chicago is not called the windy city for nothing”explains a resident.
So that residents can move around, snowplows are out and rake the city all night long. “One hour I work, and the next hour I warm up inside. I will have to work all night”, explains a worker. In Chicago, the snow will continue to fall all day this Friday, December 23, and temperatures are not expected to rise above -10°C before Christmas.
